Veleta Pick Tour

Our team will take you to “La Hoya de La Mora” in 2500 meters of elevation / 8.202 ft. This is the limit for cars, as beyond this point, just hikers and bikers are allowed to take the road to the summit of the Veleta Peak which are 3.396 meters high / 11.142 ft You will see how easy it is to ride an e-bike: you decide about the assistance of the engine, it is perfect for anyone. Then, go up the old glacier valleys and the highest mountains in Spain while the great valley of Granada surround you. After about two hour you will reach the summit of the Veleta Peak the second hightest peak in the Sierra N. almost 3.5 kilometers of elevation and the reward is the unique view. If weather conditions permit, from the top you can see the Mediterranean Sea, the Rif range in Africa, province of Granada and part of the provinces of Málaga, Jaén y Almería. Back to Granada we will make a stop at the visitors center of Sierra Nevada (El Dornajo1.650m) Other things to note Sports clothing is not essential although it is advisable to wear comfortable loose fitting clothes that allow ease of movement and we advise against wearing high heels or platforms, or sandals.
